Finally some visual progress

The past SEVERAL weeks have been filled with lots of drywall work. Which means super messy and super dusty mudding, sanding and texturing.  Last weekend, while I was away on a girls weekends, George and his BFF got some paint on the walls. What a difference it makes in our progress and motivation! Here are few pics:

One more coat and it'll be the perfect cobalt blue!

Stil on the to do list before we move back in (fingers crossed!!!) this next week:
1. texture and paint the ceiling
2. clean the floors
3. patch the floors and a few spots in the countertops (more pics on that to come when they're cleaned off from all the dust)
4. 2nd coat of paint on all the walls
5. stain and seal the floors

After those few final things are complete and we've allowed the floors 72 hours to cure, we can move back in and start making this more of a home and lesson of a construction zone!
