Blessing in disguise
Turns out its a VERY good thing we're behind on the closet. A repaired pipe above the closet burst today. Good thing George, Jeffrey and Yamel were standing only two feet away and quickly got the water shut off. We only had to mop up just a small bucket's worth of water. What a blessing though that our clothes and shoes were not in the closet and we hadn't painted yet or put in the shelves, and especially that we hadn't put down the brand new flooring yet. The even bigger blessing is that we were home and got it remedied in about 10 min. Whew! That was a close one but the Lord was watching out for us.

Crazy!! So glad it wasn't any worse. A similar thing happened to us this week. The tube attached to the ice maker in our freezer split and water started spraying out. Gushing, actually. Thankfully we were home and our landlord answered the phone to tell us how to turn the water main off! It could have been sooo much worse. Yay for blessings like that.
