Red, hot and BLUE

For the 4th of July today I thought it was a great opportunity to share some of the color we're bringing into the kitchen: BLUE!! Cobalt blue to be precise, which has become my fav! (Its the color of our dishes as well). One wall will be a rich, deep cobalt blue while the rest of the walls will be the same slate gray as the rest of the main living area. We found these GORGE, crazy-looking, optical-illusion glass tiles at ReStore. These will go around the bar area so the wall color won't be right up against it, but I want it to complement the color in the tiles. Here's a few pics:

Going to try and do this with the pattern- love the chevron!

But if we can't get the angles quite right we'll just do the diagonal stripes.
