Exuma Under Way: Plan B

We had to come up with a Plan B really quickly and in an emotional state at that. Before I get to that I had a few things to share about this. We've had a rough few weeks and it took so much work to get to this point and so many delays before we even got to consider staining the floors (this was the last step before moving back in). We actually handled the dye disaster very well and were even able to laugh some amid the tears. We both had a few breaking points but we didn't get angry at each other and really tried to just move past it. Through this, I have a few things we've learned 1. always have a plan b and, 2. don't ever get so in love with an idea that you can't see beyond it to have a plan b.
Now, back to flooring. We didn't have a lot of options for the floor, due to time and cost. We needed it to be cheap yet still allow us to get moved back in this next week. That really left only the option of epoxy. I didn't know much about it, except from a few pictures and that it's next to the concrete sealers on the shelf at Home Depot. Its super durable and mostly used for garage floors, basements and in commercial buildings. The winning qualities are that its cheap, it dries quickly and covers well. Perfect!
