As you may know, we have not actually been living in our own home since May. When we had some plumbing issues that needed to be fixed and so we began staying with a friend. We were graciously offered to just stay for a few months to have a clean, safe place until our home was really liveable again. The fatcats were much happier with this move since they were getting frazzled with the noise and dust. They're happy and spoiled now. Our goal is to get back in our place by Labor Day weekend (AKA my birthday weekend!!) Here's our list of things to do before that can happen:
1. finish our closet- paint, stain shelves, put up shelves, put down flooring
2. finish pantry- texture, put up shelves, paint everything!
3. texture and paint the ceiling (FINALLY decided on a texture I like- more on that later)
4. stain and seal the floors
5. pour and seal the countertops
6. texture and paint our bedroom
Think we can get all that done in just over 3 weeks??? We hope so!
